Doug & Naomi Moseley | intimacytraining.com

Founders of IntimacyTraining.com, Douglas and Naomi Moseley currently conduct residential week-long trainings for couples and individuals in Taos, NM and British Columbia. In addition they lead weekend workshops in various cities throughout North America.

The Moseley's Approach:

The foundation of our work is helping individuals and couples be more aware of their feelings. That might sound simple enough but it is terrifically challenging work and absolutely fundamental for those who have a desire to sustain enriching, passionate marriages over the long haul.

Developing feelings skills in a marriage involves three components: locating the feelings, learning how to express feelings clearly, and learning how to receive feelings. Some individuals have difficulty locating their feelings (in fact many of us have been trained to do quite the opposite). Other individuals might have awareness of their feelings but have difficulty clearly expressing them (which, in an intimate relationship, is really not all that much different from not being able to locate feelings in the first place). From what we have seen over the years, practically everybody has difficulty receiving feelings (and needs some training in that area).

Books by the Moseleys:
  • The Shadow Side Of Intimate Relationships: What's Going On Behind the Scene
  • Making Your Second Marriage a First Class Success
